Billy Gaskins

Billy Gaskins has served as head coach of FTCC baseball since the program’s inaugural spring season in 2018. 

A Fayetteville native, Gaskins comes to FTCC after an extensive career playing “America’s favorite pastime.” He played baseball at what is now UNC Pembroke under coach Danny Davis. Gaskins coached high school baseball for several years throughout Fayetteville before becoming an assistant coach at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, an NJCAA Division II school. He’s also served in coaching rolls at Methodist University and with the Coastal Plains League’s Fayetteville Swamp Dogs. He also was a previous owner of the G-Hawks travel baseball program, which has multiple teams for elementary and high school students.
