The Student Relief Fund assists FTCC students who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. Your tax-deductible gift will provide emergency assistance by providing support for food, rent, utilities, and other emergency needs during this crisis. The fund is administered by the FTCC Foundation for currently enrolled FTCC students. If you need assistance making a gift online, please call 910-678-8441. We appreciate your patience and support.

Food Pantry

FTCC has established a Food Pantry to help FTCC students who are facing financial hardship. The pantry will provide nonperishable food and personal items.
To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled in classes and possess a valid school ID. Students will be asked to complete a brief intake form with a statement of financial need.

The Foundation cultivates and manages donations for Fayetteville Technical Community College including contributions from private donors, corporations, alumni, employees, retirees, and in-kind gifts. These resources provide college access for students to attain their educational and career goals.

Campus Fund Drive

Investing in Futures promotes funds that stay on FTCC’s campus to support:
  • Book funds
  • Departmental funds
  • Emergency tuition
  • Scholarships
By Investing in Futures, more of our students will receive the necessary financial support that would otherwise not be available.

Board Chair’s Message

It has been my honor to serve as the chair of the FTCC Foundation Board of Directors for the past two years and as a board member prior to that. In my time with the Foundation I have learned so much about FTCC and its wonderful students, faculty, staff and alumni.

FTCC is vitally important to our community. As a major employer with 8 campuses, the economic impact of the college is significant, estimated at nearly $750 million a year. All around us are proud alumni of FTCC in every industry. FTCC enjoys a statewide reputation as a shining star in the community college system and a is a community asset of which we should all be proud.

As board chair, I have had the opportunity to interact with impressive FTCC students, dynamic faculty, and committed staff. Our Foundation Board members are dedicated and supportive and give graciously of their time in order to help ensure that anyone who seeks to obtain a quality education from a highly rated institution will not be prevented from doing so. Our Foundation staff works tirelessly day in and out to raise much-needed funds and support for the college. The staff is passionate about helping students through scholarships and other aid.

This has been a challenging year in every way. I am proud of how FTCC faculty and staff and members of our community stepped up to donate generously to the Trojan Strong campaign on Giving Tuesday to support the Student Relief Fund. The outpouring of support meant a great deal to us at the Foundation, but I assure you its impact was immeasurable for those students who needed our help the most. It has never been more important than now to provide emergency assistance to our students to keep them on track and in school.

Donating to FTCC Foundation is a sound investment in the futures of deserving students and in the health and wellbeing of our community. These students will become the professional workforce and the leaders of tomorrow. We appreciate your support!
