North Carolina Residency
If you are admitted to FTCC (or re-admitted after a lapse in enrollment) the law requires the College to classify you as either a resident or non-resident during your term of admission for tuition purposes.
If you claim North Carolina residence for tuition purposes, you must file a Residency Appeal Application prior to the beginning of the term for which you claim such residence.
Evaluating Transfer Credit
The office of evaluation reviews all official transcripts submitted by current and prospective students. It can take up to 72 business hours from the date of transcript receipt to complete an evaluation. During peak registration times, it may be longer.
