Looking for your fall schedule? Login to Self-Service! Be sure when entering your username to use lowercase letters. 

Passwords for Self-Service expire periodically; it’s recommended that you change your password before each semester. Learn more on the Self-Service Password Reset webpage.

Canvas

Access to your coursework and grades is available by logging into Canvas. Courses will appear on the first day of the semester.

Each class has an initial Canvas assignment or icebreaker you must complete to remain in the course.

Remember, your Canvas login is the same one used for Self-Service.

Student Email

Access your student email account using your username. Your initial password for email is your eight digit date of birth, in MMDDYYYY format.  You will be prompted to change your password after entering your birth-date. Example: March 15 1980 would be keyed as 03151980.

Please note all correspondence from the HSC office and your FTCC instructor will go to your FTCC email address.

Submit Your Transcript/Test Scores

A copy of your most recent transcript with your unweighted GPA is required.

• Cumberland County Schools will provide transcripts for all CCS students.
• Private school students should contact their school counselor.
• Homeschool students will need to also include their homeschool registration

If your GPA is below 2.8, please also send us any testing you have taken (SAT, ACT, etc.)

• Accepted Test Scores can be found on our eligibility page. 

Kaylee Hovey

Career Coach

Kaylee Hovey was born and raised in Sampson County. She was a Career and College Promise student herself and completed her Associate in Arts degree while in high school, giving her firsthand insight into the impact early college and career planning can have. She then went on to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology.

With years of experience in career planning and advising high school students, Kaylee is passionate about helping students discover their goals, explore their options, and confidently plan for their futures. She finds great fulfillment in guiding students toward paths that align with their strengths and aspirations. 

Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys spending quality time with her husband, friends, and family. She also enjoys calligraphy and other creative projects.

Rayna Peeples

My name is Ms. Peeples, and I am originally from Fayetteville, NC. I graduated from the illustrious NC Agricultural and Technical State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s in psychology. I am currently going to East Carolina University, for my master’s in clinical counseling. Although I love all things mental health related, I have a passion for helping others reach their educational goals. I am looking forward to serving students, and their families, as a High School Connections Career Coach!

Timiney is a dedicated professional from Fayetteville, North Carolina, with a diverse background in administrative roles. After completing her education at Cape Fear High School, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University. Outside of her professional life, Timiney values spending quality time with her family and friends, enjoys outdoor activities, and has a talent for playing the piano. She is passionate about supporting students in reaching their full potential and strives to make a meaningful, positive difference in their lives.
