Self-Service

Looking for your fall schedule? Login to Self-Service! Be sure when entering your username to use lowercase letters. 

Passwords for Self-Service expire periodically; it’s recommended that you change your password before each semester. Learn more on the Current Students webpage.

Blackboard

Access to your coursework and grades is available by logging into Blackboard. Courses will appear on the first day of the semester.

Each class has an initial Blackboard assignment or icebreaker you must complete to remain in the course.

Remember, your Blackboard login is the same one used for Self-Service.

Blackboard Collaborate

This fall most courses will be either virtual or online. Students will be using Blackboard Collaborate for their virtual instructional format. Instructors will send active links that grant you access to a virtual classroom.

Information concerning Blackboard Collaborate can be found in the online Blackboard Users Guide.

Student Email

Access your student email account using your username. Your initial password for email is your eight digit date of birth, in MMDDYYYY format.  You will be prompted to change your password after entering your birth-date. Example: March 15 1980 would be keyed as 03151980.

Please note all correspondence from the HSC office and your FTCC instructor will go to your FTCC email address.

Submit Your Transcript/Test Scores

A copy of your most recent transcript with your unweighted GPA is required.

• Cumberland County Schools will provide transcripts for all CCS students.
• Private school students should contact their school counselor.
• Homeschool students will need to also include their homeschool registration

If your GPA is below 2.8, please also send us any testing you have taken (SAT, ACT, etc.)

• Accepted Test Scores can be found on our eligibility page. 

Gary Womble

I’m Gary Womble Jr, a Fayetteville, NC native and alumnus of Fayetteville State University. Promoting students toward becoming the overall best version of themselves is my personal life goal. Counting it a joy to guide anyone through scholastic or personal endeavors. I’ve worked in education for the past twelve years in various capacities including: Coach, Teacher, and Mentor to name a few.   

I have been described as a “fitness lover,” I spend free time enjoying biking, running, weightlifting.  You’ll learn I’m a devoted “Carolina Panthers” NFL team fan who never misses an opportunity to watch their games. 

Remaining focused on each task put in my care. Successfully managing all responsibilities that I accept I live by my favorite quote “a leader is most effective when he empowers others!”

Jennifer Dugat

Career Coach

Born in Germany and raised as a military child, Jennifer spent most of her life in Louisiana. Having married a military member, she now lives in North Carolina.

Jennifer enjoys meeting with students and helping them plan for success. Jennifer believes that all students can succeed with the right tools! Her goal is to be a part of each student’s journey to success. Most of all she enjoys encouraging students to be who they are! “Being different isn’t a bad thing. Benjamin Fisher

Career Coach

Born and raised on a farm in Northern Indiana, Benjamin moved to North Carolina in 2004 when he was stationed at Ft. Bragg. Benjamin attended Fayetteville State University where he earned both his Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Business Administration.

Prior to coming to FTCC-High School Connections (HSC), Benjamin taught at South View High School for five years. Benjamin enjoys aiding and directing students on how to achieve their academic and career goals. Benjamin says his office is always open when students need academic or life advice, or just need someone to speak with.   

In his spare time, Benjamin likes to watch sports, spend time with his children, and work in his garden or complete other home improvement projects.

Sydney Love

Career Coach

Sydney holds a Master of Arts from Concordia University Irvine in Coaching and Athletic Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Mennonite University in Recreation Leadership and Sports Promotion with a minor in coaching. She attended Mercersburg Academy for high school in Mercersburg, PA.

Sydney previously worked in the athletic department at FTCC. Before that, she was employed with Cisco College as the assistant softball coach, assistant sports information director and resident director.

Kristian Roman

Records Clerk

Kristian is a US Army Veteran and a recent graduate of Fayetteville State University with her Bachelors in History. She loves to read, and spend time with her husband and their three kids. I enjoy eating out at different restaurants, and making traveling memories with my family. My favorite place to travel to is Disney World, and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
