All incoming Nursing students should contact or visit the Nursing Advising and Admission Center to receive their individual Student Education Plan. This plan serves as an outline of prerequisite courses and courses that earn competitive points.
We encourage new or returning students to check their student e-mail for information from the Nursing Advising and Admission Center.

Monika Hamm
Coordinator of Health Programs Admissions
Monika Hamm was born and raised in Germany where she completed a 3-year Nursing program and worked as a nurse prior to moving to the US. She understands the challenges nursing students face and is passionate about supporting them on their journey to becoming nurses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, traveling, and painting.

The ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (ATI TEAS) was developed to measure basic skills in reading, Mathematics, Science, English, and Language Usage. The FTCC Library provides free study material and practice exams for students to prepare for the TEAS exam.

Competitive Admissions
Due to the number of students interested in nursing programs and the limited availability of seats, nursing programs have a competitive admissions process to select students. Each program accepts applications during specific times of the year where students can compete for a seat.

Associate Degree Nursing
Associate Degree Nursing consists of 2 application cycles.
Fall Entry: November 1 – January 30 for entrance the following Fall semester (August)
Spring Entry: June 1 – July 31 for entrance the following Spring semester (January)

Where to Apply
To be eligible to apply to compete for a seat in a health program, applicants must complete high school or GED & meet the additional requirements listed here in order to complete the “secondary” student health program application. *
Official High School transcript/GED is required in FTCC Admissions to access the health program application. The application can be accessed by clicking on the HEALTH PROGRAM APPLICATION BUTTON below. Login using your FTCC Student Username and Password. Click on Health Application Form. Then choose the program you wish to apply to and submit. You will see a confirmation receipt on screen. Print or take a picture for your records.
**High School SENIORS interested in applying to compete for a Health Program at FTCC must:
1) Apply to FTCC and turn in partial High School transcript If not already a High School Connection student at FTCC
2) Ensure they have met the pre-requisites for the program of interest.
3) Email applynursing@faytechcc.edu to request further instructions on how to apply to a health program
