KINSTON, N.C. — Fayetteville Tech volleyball picked up its fifth straight win Wednesday with a 3-0 win over Lenoir CC.

The Trojans beat the Lancers (7-14, 0-9) by sets of 25-22, 25-5 and 25-13 to improve to 13-2 on the season. The match marked a return to divisional play for FTCC, which is 6-2 against Region 10 Division II East opponents.

FTCC is third in the East Division standings.

The Trojans remain undefeated on the road this season, winning all eight away matches. They stay on the road tonight for a 6 p.m. contest against divisional foe Pitt CC.

FTCC returns home Saturday, Oct. 9, for its only home tri-match of the season. The Trojans face Bryant & Stratton at 11 a.m. and USC Lancaster at 3 p.m.

Sophomore right side Lauren Adams was the top producer for the Trojans on Wednesday, tallying 13 kills and three services aces. Defensive specialist Taylor Melvin also had three aces and led the team in digs with 13.

Setter Jacqueline Woosley had 29 assists.
