WINTERVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Tech volleyball topped Pitt CC on the road Thursday, marking the sixth straight win for the Trojans.

FTCC improves to 14-2 on the season and 7-2 in the Region 10 Division II East, where the Trojans are in third place.

The win caps a three-game road stretch for Trojans, who return home Saturday to host divisional foe Bryant & Stratton and West challenger USC Lancaster is a tri-match.

The Trojans will face the Bobcats at 11 a.m. and the Lancers at 3 p.m. The two visiting teams will play each other at 1 p.m.

The Trojans held off the Bulldogs (7-7, 3-7 East) in straight sets Thursday, winning 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20.

Sophomores Alyssa Wrench and Lauren Adams led the way. Adams, the Trojans’ right-side hitter, recorded a game-high 16 kills and added 14 digs. Wrench, playing outside hitter, tallied 12 kills and led defensively with 16 digs.

Setter Jacqueline Woosley had 37 assists. Taylor Melvin and Morgan Brady each had two aces.
