MARTINSVILLE, VA. — Fayetteville Tech volleyball rolled past Patrick Henry CC on Monday, securing a 3-0 win on the road.

The Trojans topped the winless Patriots in sets of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-6 to improve to 12-2 on the season.

The win caps off a successful three-match stretch against non-conference opponents for the Trojans, who return to Region 10 Division II play Wednesday night with a trip to Lenoir CC.

FTCC, which has held steady in third place in the DII East standings, beat the Lancers 3-1 in the teams’ first meeting of the season Sept. 7.

Freshman middle Morgan Brady was dialed in for the Trojans on Monday, recording a team-high seven kills, two solo blocks and three block assists.

Sophomore Lauren Adams added six kills and tallied seven aces, a season-high for the right-side hitter.

Sophomore setter Jacqueline Woosley recorded 24 assists, and outside hitter Alyssa Wrench had seven digs.

The Trojans’ will follow Wednesday’s road match with an away game Thursday at Pitt CC before returning home Saturday, Oct. 9, for a tri-match with Bryant & Stratton and USC Lancaster. The tri-match begins at 11 a.m.
