Volleyball played an exciting match against #14 Cape Fear Community College Thursday night. Going into this game, the Sea Devils only had one conference loss against #5 Richard Bland. With this win, the Trojans move ahead of Cape Fear to the #2 spot in Region 10 DII East conference standings with 8 wins.

It was a packed house in Horace Sisk, everything the Trojans needed to spark energy on the court. To end each set, the Trojans came from behind to beat Cape Fear. The offense was on fire with 43 kills on the night. 13 come from the offensive leader Hannah Spexarth (Fayetteville, NC), followed by Sydney Conklin (Fayetteville, NC) with 11, Morgan Brady (Fayetteville, NC) with 8 and Eternitie Denton (Fayetteville, NC) with 8. The offensive success was set up by Jacqueline Woosley (Fayetteville, NC) who had 35 assists in the match.
The defense was lead by, Libero, Aliyah Brown (Fayetteville, NC) who had 17 digs and Woosley who was close behind with 16 digs. Sonjai Guiles (Georgetown, SC) was all over the net ending with 4 blocks, 1 solo and 3 assisted.
The Trojans ended with 5 service aces: 2 from Brown, 1 from Brady, 1 from Kailey Ann Strickland (Fayetteville, NC) and 1 from Taylor Melvin (Fayetteville, NC).
