Volleyball traveled to Pitt Community College Monday night to make up their conference match that was postponed Friday night due to the weather. The Trojans defeated the Bulldogs in four sets improving to 12-5 on the season and 4-2 in conference. 

FTCC vs. Pitt CC (W, 3-1)

The Trojans battled back and forth in four sets to secure the win over Pitt Community College. The offense was lead by Hannah Spexarth (Fayetteville, NC) with 13 kills out of 54 attacks, the most attacks in a game this year for the Trojans. Morgan Brady (Fayetteville, NC) and Eternitie Denton (Fayetteville, NC) had 21 kills combined out of the teams 50. Aliyah Brown (Fayetteville, NC) had one of her better games on defense with 17 digs with Jacqueline Woosley (Fayetteville, NC) and Spexarth were not far behind with 13 and 10 digs themselves. Woosley had her third highest assist game of the season with 41 assists against Pitt. Olivia Johnson (Wilmington, NC) added two service aces and Sonjai Guiles (Georgetown, SC) had 2 assisted blocks on the night for the Trojans.

Volleyball will play at home on Thursday, October 6 against Lenoir Community College at 6pm. The following Monday, the Trojans will match up again with Pitt Community College at home for a Dig Pink game at 6pm.
