Michael Starrs and Reece Woody sign a temp contract with the Morehead City Marlins. The Marlins are apart of the Coastal Plain League located in Morehead City, North Carolina. All home games for the Marlins are played at O’Neil Field at Big Rock Stadium in Morehead City.
Starrs and Woody will be playing with the Marlins until their South Florida League begins. They will join teammates, Jacky Clancy and Tanner Sweatt, in Florida for more baseball. All four Trojan baseball alums will be playing for the Phipps Park Barracudas for the summer in South Florida. All the Barracuda home games will be played at Santaluces High School in Lantana, Florida.
Starrs, Woody, Clancy and Sweatt are all uncommitted for next season and will be deciding shortly where they will continue their academic and baseball career.
