Softball Coach

FTCC softball head coach Miguel Justiniano has been selected to participate in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s year-round mentoring program.

Justiniano, who has steered the Trojans softball program since its inception in the 2018-19 school year, will be in a mentor triangle that includes Humboldt State assistant coach Breonna Bejaran and longtime travel ball coach David Fosdick.

The NFCA program, which is entering its third year, is designed to bring coaches from around the country together into triangle groups based on their goals, leadership styles, strengths and self-identified areas for growth.

As the pinnacle member of the triangle, Justiniano will guide conversations and offer insight throughout the mentoring process, which will extend from August 2019 through July 2020.

Prior to leading the Trojans, Justiniano coached on staff as Methodist, helping propel the Monarchs to a national No. 7 ranking in 2006. He then spent six seasons at Fayetteville State, helping the Broncos finish as CIAA runners-up in 2009.
