Pitcher Dominique Brown is transferring to Shaw University, becoming the first FTCC softball player to transfer to a four-year program.
Brown earned four wins in 18 appearances during the Trojans’ inaugural spring season. She recorded 32 strikeouts in 69.1 innings, averaging 3.23 Ks per seven innings.
Brown joins a Shaw program looking to rebound from a three-win season in 2019. The Bears are under the direction of new head coach Nadia Jeffries, who took over the NCAA Division II program in July.
