FAYETTEVILLE, NC – November 1, 2018 – Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) announced today that the College will hold a National Apprenticeship Week Information Breakfast on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Center for Business & Industry (CBI), Room 111, on the Fayetteville campus, at 2723 Fort Bragg Road. The breakfast begins at 8 a.m., followed by an informational session at 8:30 a.m.

Local industry and government officials are encouraged to attend and learn more about the benefits of the apprenticeship program. Speakers will be Tony Marshall, Innovative Systems Group (www.innovativesys.com/), and Chris Harrington, DJO Global (www.djoglobal.com).

National Apprenticeship Week (November 12-18) is a national celebration that offers leaders in business, labor, education, and other critical partners a chance to demonstrate their support for apprenticeship. It provides apprenticeship sponsors the opportunity to showcase their programs, facilities, and apprentices in their community. The week-long event also highlights the benefits of apprenticeship in preparing a highly-skilled workforce to meet the talent needs of employers across diverse industries.
