Men’s Basketball traveled to Sanford, North Carolina to take on the Cougars of Central Carolina Community College on Thursday, February 22.
With a big first half, the Trojans scored 42 points to go into halftime with the lead. The Cougars outscored FTCC in the second half, but the Trojans were able to pull out the win with two points to spare 70-68.
The Trojans have Sophomore Day celebrations on Saturday, February 24 before the start of their game at 4pm. They will be celebrating five sophomores: Gerren Jones, Aaron Randolph, Rayvon Moncrieft, David McCallum and Aldrick Ke Edwards. The Women’s Basketball team will also be celebrating four sophomores at this time: Luisa Monsalve, Joy Ezeh, Danielle Jackson and Rilya Mitchell.
Men’s Basketball will be playing Southwest Virginia in their last home game of the regular season at 4pm. They travel to their final regular season match up Thursday, February 29 at 7pm against Louisburg College.
