2021 FTCC men’s basketball

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville Tech men’s basketball earned a 100-93 victory over Guilford Tech on Wednesday, grabbing a win in the Trojans’ first home game in three weeks.

Sophomore guard Tyreik McCallum paced the Trojans with a game-high 25 points, including a 18-point first half that powered FTCC to a 57-39 lead at halftime.

Forward Jawon Eddie added 20 points, scoring 11 in the first half.

The Trojans (6-2) remain in fourth place in the NJCAA Region 10 Division II standings, trailing third-place Sandhills CC, second-place Louisburg and leader Davidson-Davie CC.

FTCC returns to the road for a five-game stretch starting at Bryant & Stratton on Friday, March 19.
