Men’s basketball opened their season off with a home game against Hosana Bible College. The Trojans came out on top, outscoring the Warbirds 103-41.

The Trojans scored 64 points in the first half, outscoring Hosana Bible College by 41 points. The Warbirds made a run in the second half only falling by 21 points to the Trojans.
The offense was led by Jamauri Bryant (Washington, NC) with 23 points going 10-11 in field goals. James Richardson (Ayden, NC) went 7-7 with 2 assists and 3 steals for the Trojans. Xzavier Thaggard (Fayetteville, NC) was 5-7 from the free throw line, finishing with 13 points in the game.
Bryant also led the Trojans on defense with 10 rebounds and 4 steals. James Jones (Raleigh, NC) was close behind with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Rayvon Moncrieft (Greene County, NC) had 5 assists.
