The Robert P. Holding Foundation has donated $25,000 to FTCC Foundation to the First Citizens Bank Endowed Scholarship.

Hank Dunbar of First Citizens Bank said the Robert P. Holding Foundation is proud to continue its commitment to Fayetteville Tech. “The Holding Foundation knows well the impact that Fayetteville Technical Community College has on students, business and industry, and virtually every facet of our community,” said Dunbar. “It is proud to support the college’s mission of transforming lives through affordable, accessible, valuable learning experiences.”

FTCC Foundation manages more than 200 endowments and other funds to benefit student scholarships, academic programs, athletics, and facilities.

“The Holding Foundation has been very generous in their support of this scholarship which will help many students at FTCC,” said Sandy Ammons, FTCC Foundation Executive Director. “We appreciate the support from First Citizens Bank and the Robert P. Holding Foundation and their commitment to the community.”

The mission of FTCC Foundation is to foster and promote the growth, progress, and general welfare of FTCC, provide supplementary financial support to the College and its students, and advance and enrich the services provided for students, the community, alumni, faculty, and staff.
