Sophomore guard Jamauri Bryant has been named to the NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball All-America third team.

Bryant is the first Trojan to earn All-American honors in the Athletics program’s history.

The 6-foot-5 sophomore out of Washington, N.C., was a dependable producer for the Trojans this season, averaging 18.9 points and 11.3 rebounds in 28 games. He recorded 22 double doubles and shot 53.4 percent from the floor.

He was named to the first team of the All-Region 10 Division II team.

Bryant led the Trojans to a 22-8 mark on the season, which ended with a Region 10 Division II Tournament quarterfinal appearance.
