Congratulations to the winners of FTCC’s recent student poster contest. The students, who designed posters for FTCC’s upcoming Miranda v. Arizona community discussion event, created the posters as part of their Advertising & Graphic Design coursework. The students were given the opportunity to interview discussion committee members to inform their design choices. The posters were then voted on by the committee and FTCC students in separate votes.

Miranda Discussion Committee selections:
1st place — Terra Smith
2nd place — Cheyenne Puckett
3rd place — Ashley Gale

Student vote winner:
Terra Smith

The posters promote “Making Noise About Silence,” a community discussion about the landmark Supreme Court case Miranda v. Arizona. FTCC will host the discussion March 7 in Cumberland Hall Auditorium. Doors open at noon. The discussion will begin at 1 p.m.
