The FTCC men’s basketball team has arrived safely tonight in Thomasville, North Carolina, in anticipation of Saturday’s face off against Davidson-Davie Community College, who is ranked second in the nation for NJCAA

FTCC basketball Coach Brian Hurd says Davidson is, “an extremely explosive and experienced team that can score the ball at a high level. They are loaded with guys who have seen a lot of success.”

FTCC Trojans have some positives to point out as well.  Hurd says, “we are the youngest team in the conference and we’re hungry.  The team plays extremely hard and are learning on the fly.” Hurd has watched his Trojans mature on the court and develop a respect for one another over the past year.

Hurd encourages his team to enjoy every day and every moment.  Soak it all in and be grateful for everything!

Meanwhile, both teams are fighting to bring home the coveted NJCAA Region 10, Division II Championship title.   Tip-off will be at 3:00pm.
