Ten Fayetteville Tech student-athletes earned NJCAA All-Academic honors for the 2018-19 year.

The awards, announced Tuesday, July 2, by the association, recognize athletes who finish the academic year with a 3.60 or higher grade-point average.

Volleyball player Christiana Murray led the way for the Trojans, earning First Team All-Academic honors, a designation awarded to athletes who finish the year with a 4.0.

Four Trojans were named NJCAA Second Team All-Academic honorees, earning a GPA between 3.80-3.99. Baseball’s Carmelo Crespo and Charles Jordan earned second team honors, as did volleyball player Krislyn Bullard and softball player Cameron Motes.

NJCAA Third Team All-Academic honors, recognizing athletes who post a 3.60-3.79 GPA, went to five Trojans. Baseball players Bruce Elmore and Tyler Glenn, basketball guard Zachary Boggs, softball player Danielle Gray, and volleyball player Jillian Recod were third team honorees.
