Men’s Basketball traveled down the road to Smithfield, NC on Thursday night to take on Johnston Community College in a conference game. The Trojans came out on top improving to 6-3 in conference play. 

FTCC vs. Johnston: 78-57, Win

The Trojans scored 39 points in the first half leading the Jaguars by seven points. They came out in the second half and scored another 39 points while holding Johnston to 25. 

Ray Mitchell (Jacksonville, NC) was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Trevion Lewis (Atlanta, GA) and Garrett Morgan (Charlotte, NC) each had nine points and Lewis also had 11 rebounds. 

Cameron Burns (Charlotte, NC) had eight points and five assists while Josh Alford (Raleigh, NC) had eight points and two rebounds.

The Trojans are back at home today when they host Davidson-Davie for a conference game at 7PM. They then will head on road to Methodist to play their JV team on Thursday night at 8PM and Saturday at Forsyth Tech for a 3PM tip-off. 

All home games are $10 admission and played at Reid Ross Classical: 3200 Ramsey Street.
