JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Fayetteville Tech volleyball earned a straight-set victory at conference opponent Guilford Tech on Thursday, Sept. 12, winning in sets of 25-17, 25-19 and 25-9.

The victory stopped a two-game skid and put the Trojans level at 2-2 on the season. The Trojans put together a nearly clean passing performance, making just one ball-handling error on the night.

Sophomore middle Da’Nya McPhatter was a force at the net, tallying a team-high eight kills. Outside hitters Alexis Spexarth and Anna Grey Barbour each added five.

Setter Krislyn Bullard recorded 21 assists and notched a season-high five aces. Bullard and libero AnnMarie Miller had eight digs each.

The Trojans return home Saturday, Sept. 14, for their first tri-match of the season. They’ll face Patrick Henry at 1 p.m. and Lenoir CC at 5 p.m.
