Volleyball traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee to participate in the NJCAA Southeast District B Championship game this past Friday. They played the host team and Region 7 Champion, Pellissippi State Community College. 

The Trojans put up a hard fight, but the Panthers took the first three sets to move on to the national tournament.

Volleyball finishes their 2025 season 25-6 overall and 9-2 in conference play, setting program records in all categories except solo blocks:

FTCC vs. Pellissippi State: 0-3, Loss

The Trojans started out with a lead in set one but the Panthers took momentum and ran with it to win 17-25 in set one. They held the same energy in set two winning 14-25. The Trojans took the lead in set three but the Panthers battled back to take the match 23-25. 

Kyrie Willis (Cypress, TX) had 13 kills. Taylor Detrant (Keizer, OR) finished with 19 assists, three kills and eight digs. 

Madison Carter (Benson, NC) had 10 digs and Ella Ferrie (Stanchfield, MN) had six digs with three kills. 

Kayloni Eddings (Pembroke, NC) had three blocks and three kills.
