Addition to FTCC’s Academic Procedures Manual

Section 111-1.1  Military Recruitment & Marketing Practices on page 22:

As required by the Department of Defense, the College, its agents, and its employees are prohibited from providing anything valued greater than $10.00 to any person being recruited to enroll at Fayetteville Technical Community College. This prohibition shall apply to gratuities, favors, discounts, entertainment, hospitality, loans, transportation, lodging, meals and any other item having a monetary value. This prohibition shall not limit the College’s ability to grant scholarships to its students.

FTCC recruitment activities also refrains from high-pressure recruitment tactics such as making multiple unsolicited contacts (3 or more), including contacts by phone, email, or in-person, or engage in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing Service member enrollments.

Employees will sign a Code of Ethical Conduct Statement upon employment with the College, which will be maintained in their personnel file.
