Fayetteville Technical Community College’s FBLA-Collegiate Chapter was recognized for a number of achievements at this year’s State Leadership Conference, held April 11-13 in Charlotte.

The chapter earned the Legacy Leadership Award, which is given to chapters that complete a series of state and national activities, demonstrating the chapter’s involvement throughout the year.

FTCC was also recognized as a Gold Star Chapter and earned first- and second-place awards for Professional Network Contributions, certificates awarded for the club’s donations to the NC FBLA-C general and scholarship funds.

Students Ashley Willis and Logan Anderson both earned Leadership Development Certificates for participating in more than five seminars hosted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) during the conference.

Anderson earned certificates for placing second in Entrepreneurship Pitch, fourth in Foundation of Entrepreneurship, fifth in Project Management and eighth in Business Presentation.
