To take classes here as a visiting student (non-degree seeking):

 

Step One:

Complete an Admissions Application, including completing N.C. Residency, by going to the website as directed within your admissions application.
FTCC APPLICATION

  • As a visiting student, select T90990 Special Credit Non-Degree Seeking as your degree choice on your admissions application.
  • After completing the admissions application, allow 24-48 hours for processing.  You will receive an Acceptance Letter with your Student ID, User ID and log in instructions in the mail within 5-7 business days.

Step Two

Submit official transcript for Evaluation

  • To take a course with no prerequisites, official transcripts are not required.
  • To take a course that has developmental prerequisites (e.g., ENG 025 or MAT 025) submit your official high school transcript for evaluation.
  • To take a course with college level prerequisites (e.g., ENG 112 or MAT 172) submit official college transcripts and/or score reports.

Step Three:

Complete Visiting Student Form (Form V-5) email to the Registrar’s Office registrar@faytechcc.edu.   


Important Notice for Non-Degree Seeking Students

Courses taken as a non-degree seeking student are not eligible for financial aid, VA benefits, or similar funding. Tuition and fees must be paid in full by the posted deadline.

Failure to make payment by the due date will result in being dropped from classes for non-payment.
