Day 1 Social Media Post

Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day of giving held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. FTCC Foundation is participating in Cumberland Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday Campaign. You can support FTCC Foundation by donating between Nov. 24 and Dec. 2. A match of $500,000 is available for gifts made through Cumberland Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday Campaign.

The CCF Giving Tuesday giving window opens Nov. 24 at 9:00 AM and closes on Dec. 2 at 11:59 PM. Click this link to support FTCC Foundation and have your gift amplified!

Your support of FTCC Foundation will help FTCC students, faculty, and staff by:

  • Providing scholarships
  • Purchasing books and supplies
  • Supporting academic programs and athletics
  • Assisting struggling students with emergency expenses
  • Buy food and household items for the FTCC Food Pantry

How can I give to the Giving Tuesday Campaign?

  1. By check (see example below). Checks may be given to FTCC Foundation to be delivered to Cumberland Community Foundation during the campaign or sent directly to CCF.
  2. By credit card through the online catalog.
  3. Grants from donor advised funds
  4. Gifts of stock
  5. Charitable gifts from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). Donors age 70.5 and older can donate up to $100,000 from their IRA to any charity without paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution.
  6. Please notify FTCC Foundation if you are donating stock or charitable distributions from an IRA to ensure that they are received by CCF and credited to FTCC Foundation.

All gifts must be received by Cumberland Community Foundation between 9:00 AM on Nov. 25 and 5:00 PM on Dec. 4 for FTCC Foundation to receive the donation and the matching funds.
