The Foreign Languages Department at Fayetteville Technical Community College offers several language courses in various instructional settings, such as traditional face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online. In-person classes are conducted in modern language labs that are fully equipped with audio or audio-visual technology to offer students an optimal learning experience.
Fluency in a foreign language makes students more competitive on the job market and promotes cultural awareness, multiculturalism, diversity, and critical thinking.
Foreign language courses at FTCC prepare students to communicate effectively in the target language, both orally and in writing. Additionally, students will gain a better understanding of, and appreciation for, the culture and civilization related to the language studied.
