Women’s Basketball traveled to Virginia Beach, VA this past Thursday to take on the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton, who are currently leading the conference. The Trojans were up by eight points at the end of the first quarter, but the Bobcats took a run in the second. Bryant & Stratton lead by three points at halftime. The Trojans put up a hard fight in the second half, but the Bobcats secured the win. 

FTCC vs. Bryant & Stratton: 56-70, Loss

Nahmiah Aekins (Hope Mills, NC) lead the Trojans with 18 points and eight rebounds. Elyssa Phillips (Raleigh, NC) and Gabby Locklear (Lumberton, NC) each had 15 of the Trojans 56 points. 

Tateyawna Faison (Mount Olive, NC) finished the game with 12 rebounds and she went 2-2 from the free throw line.

The Trojans are back at home Tuesday night hosting Richard Bland at 6PM and Saturday when they host Southwest Virginia for a 2PM tip-off. All home games are $10 admission and played at Reid Ross Classical: 3200 Ramsey Street.
