Homeless Stand-Down Event

The Association of Students for Social Justice Club and the National Technical Honor Society invite you to support the United Way Homeless Stand-Down during National Homeless Awareness Month.

This one-day event helps Cumberland County residents access essential services that can positively impact their lives.

📅 Friday, November 21
⏰ 9 AM – 1 PM
📍 V.F.W., 116 Chance Street, Fayetteville

FTCC students will distribute toiletry bags to the homeless community. Donations are being collected until Thursday, November 20 at 3 PM.

Drop-off Locations:

Horace Sisk (HOS), room 616L, Social Science Department
Cumberland Hall (CUH), room 348 (NTHS collection box)
Suggested Items:

  • Bathing wipes
  • Disposable toothbrush/paste sets
  • Juice boxes or small snacks for children
  • Trial-size lotion, body wash, or deodorant
  • Trial-size sanitary wipes or tissues

Donations of any travel-size or small items are welcome. Community resource lists will also be provided.
