FTCC is administering COVID19 student emergency grants. Awards range from $500 to $2000 per term, based on registration hours during the term of the grant application. Students with exceptional need will be prioritized first. All students may apply and will be considered after first priority has been given to students identified with exceptional need. Students do not have to be eligible to participate in Title IV programs to be eligible for an award, but FTCC will use the federally calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine exceptional need. FTCC has set aside 60% of the available funds for students with exceptional need. Students taking classes 100% online are also eligible. Enrollment in future terms is not a condition of receipt of a grant.

By logging into your individual student eforms and submitting this document electronically, you are requesting a federal emergency grant that is based on your current term of enrollment at the time of this application. You are also attesting that your need is related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID19 and/or other emergency costs that have arisen due to COVID19.

Select “ONE” of the options below for distribution of your award:

___ I want my federal student emergency grant disbursed via electronic transfer to my personal checking account on file with FTCC, or by check if I have not provided my information for electronic disbursement.

___ I want my federal student emergency grant applied to my unpaid student account balance at FTCC. I understand that this is not a condition for receipt of a grant.

Only one application per student will be accepted. All duplicates will be declined.
