Arts & Humanities
Hi, I’m Antonio Jackson, Dean of Arts and Humanities at FTCC. FTCC offers a variety of options to prepare students for the transition to four-year institutions. Our programs allow students to save on tuition costs by completing your first two years at FTCC through one of several transferable associate degrees. The transferable associate degrees at FTCC will equip you with the core skills and knowledge you will need as you continue your education at a four-year institution. Our courses are equivalent to the courses taught in the first two years at a four-year college or university. We offer courses in a number of disciplines including history, foreign languages, sociology, psychology, communication, fine arts, and many more. Our degree options provide a solid foundation for students pursuing a four-year degree in a variety of areas, including liberal arts, business, education, social sciences, nursing, and other professional programs that require a strong liberal arts background.

Meet the Success Coaches
Success Coaches motivate and assist by positively impacting the student experience and aligning a student’s everyday actions to their short- and long-term goals.
Using a holistic approach, success coaches meet with students to provide guidance along their pathway to academic, professional, and personal success within the context of the college experience.
Arts & Science
Mr. Scott was born and raised in Robeson County. He believes that statistics do not always define who you are but, it can build character. He enjoys watching sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, track and field in his off time. His door is always open to students!

Before I get started, I was wondering ….
- Where would I go to change my major?
- Who can I talk to about a specific major or degree program?
- If I have an advanced degree, do I need to turn in my high school transcript?
- How long does it take to graduate from FTCC?
- I was homeschooled, is there a specific requirement for that?
- What are the current tuition rates?
