Assistant Athletic Director/Academic Success Coach
Mandy Peele McMillan joined FTCC as the Assistant Intercollegiate Athletic Director and Academic Success Coach on December 1, 2021.
McMillan holds a Masters of Business Administration from Methodist University, Masters of School Administration from Campbell University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She attended FTCC after high school and earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification. She is a graduate of Pine Forest High School.
McMillan was previously employed with Harnett County Schools as a business teacher and Cumberland County schools where she was a business teacher and coach. She has been the meet director for several swim conferences and the facilitator for the Cumberland County schools swim program for the past ten years. She has coached boys’ and girls’ varsity high school swimming, boys’ and girls’ varsity high school tennis and assisted with junior varsity high school softball. Her coaching efforts resulted in multiple conference championships in swimming and tennis. McMillan has also served as the meet director for several regional and state championship swim meets over the past ten years for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
Mandy Peele McMillan is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She and her husband, Bill, have a daughter, Caroline. The McMillan family love being outdoors, on the lake, supporting high school and college athletics and volunteering in their community.
