Jack Brown

Jack Brown became FTCC baseball interim head coach in November 2020. Brown was the Trojans’ pitching coach before moving to head coach.

Brown is a retired teacher and high school baseball coach, finishing a lengthy career with stints at South Brunswick and Dixon High school in July 2017. He accumulated 379 wins during his career.

Brown is a native of Aberdeen and was a part of Pinecrest High’s 1979 state championship baseball team.

Brown served two years of active duty service in the U.S. Marine Corps following high school before transitioning to reserve duty while in college. He earned his Bachelor of Science in physical education from Pembroke College, now UNC Pembroke, in 1986 and his master’s degree in P.E. in 1988 from Western Carolina.

Away from the classroom and baseball field, Brown is a home building contractor and proprietor of Jack Brown Construction.
