FTCC is pleased to announce Scot McCosh as the College’s Senior Director of Military and Veterans Programs. He succeeds the now-retired Chuck Bradley.

McCosh joined the staff at FTCC in April 2022 as a Success Coach, specifically assigned to the Computer Information Technology Division. In this role, has also connected with the work of the Carolina Cyber Network assisting in partnerships in the Military and Government sector, including projects with the Fort Bragg Innovation Center.

 

In addition to his work at FTCC, McCosh is the Command Chaplain for the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), located at Fort Bragg, where he advises a two-star Commander and supervises teams across the United States in support of over 13,000 Soldiers. In his 22-year military career, McCosh has had the privilege to serve service members and their families in the 101st Airborne (Air Assault), 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne), 28th Infantry Division (Mechanized) of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and numerous US Army Reserve Units. He has deployed to Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, supported operations across Central and South America and mobilized in support of FEMA during the COVID crisis.

McCosh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education from Samford University, a Master of Social Work from Temple University, and a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff Officers’ Course.

He is married to the Rev. Paula McCosh, and they are the proud parents of four children ages 14, 15, 20 and 24.
