FTCC will host Advising Week starting Oct. 17. Events are planned for each day, concluding Saturday, Oct. 22 with FTCC’s Fall Showcase. During Advising Week, students attending any event can receive a “punch card” to submit for a chance to win prizes.
Monday, October 17 – 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Money Monday: Members of FTCC’s Financial Aid office will be available to assist students with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Participants will earn a chance to visit the money booth to win free cash!
Tuesday, October 18 – 11a-1p – Trojans Go Bronco! Visit the front lawn area of the Tony Rand Student Center to celebrate FTCC’s partnership with Fayetteville State University and learn about the Keen Scholarship. Find out how to complete a bachelor’s degree for free from Fayetteville State University. Enjoy hotdogs, music, games & more!
Wednesday, October 19 – Walk-in Wednesday: Students can make an appointment or visit advisors to discuss classes for Spring semester. Students will receive a punch on their cards once registered.
Thursday, October 20 – Transfer Thursday: Members from FTCC’s University Transfer office (HOS 610H) and University Transfer Advising Center (HOS 612) will offer assistance to students who are interested in completing a bachelor’s degree following completion of FTCC studies.
Friday, October 21 – Finish Line Friday: Students can present punch cards at HOS 612 to be entered for a grand prize drawing.
Saturday, October 22 – Fall Saturday Showcase: Experience what FTCC has to offer by bringing the family to enjoy food and fun while learning about FTCC through presentations, demonstrations, displays and more.
