Cumberland Polytechnic High School, the cooperative, innovative high school housed on FTCC’s Fayetteville campus, was ranked No. 4 among Cumberland County high schools in the 2022 Best High Schools list from U.S. News and World Report.
The high school was ranked 125th in the state.
The rankings are based on a number of criteria, including graduation rate, assessment scores and college readiness. Cumberland Polytechnic boasts a 100 percent graduation rate.
Cumberland Polytechnic students are dual-enrolled in the high school and Fayetteville Tech, earning college credits as they attend high school. In addition to earning their high school diploma, many leave with career-specific certificates and associate’s degrees.
