Description: Building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in Part 1, this interactive workshop is dedicated to further exploring the integration of AI in the educational landscape of community colleges. Geared towards faculty, staff, and administrators, this session provides hands-on experience in prompt writing, vital for creating personalized educational materials.

 Attendees will engage in real-time practice sessions to master the art of prompt writing, enhancing their ability to develop dynamic lesson plans, create customized assessments, and innovate course content. Participant Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand and apply the RICCE framework (Role, Instructions, Context, Constraints, and Examples) to effectively guide the creation of AI prompts, ensuring relevance and functionality across various campus positions.
  • Develop the ability to independently write AI prompts that are specific to the unique needs and objectives of their role on campus, enhancing operational efficiency and educational quality.
  • Utilize AI to generate content and tools that are contextually relevant and aligned with the strategic goals of community college departments and teams.
  • Identify and implement the appropriate constraints in prompt writing to produce precise and targeted AI outputs, fostering a more controlled and effective use of AI technology.
  • Learn from examples of successful AI prompts to model and inspire the creation of tailored solutions for different areas within the college, promoting a campus-wide culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
