What: Course Alignment Bootcamp
Alignment refers to how critical course elements work together to promote students’ achievement of the intended learning outcomes. Clear alignment helps students understand how various parts of the course fit together, which in turn helps them learn. What is a course alignment map? A course (alignment) map is a representation of how you intend to teach and assess each student learning objective identified for your course. Maps are created to ensure the course objectives relate to a cognitive function and have an. appropriate assessment style.
The Center for Faculty Development will begin hosting monthly “Bootcamps” to support Course Alignment! Space is limited, so sign up early!
