What: Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice

Description: With the rapidly evolving landscape surrounding artificial intelligence, it is important for educators to have a space to discuss this technology and the current and future impact on education. The Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice has been designed to provide an opportunity for faculty and staff to come together to discuss current trends in artificial intelligence and how this emerging technology impacts their roles at the college as well as student learning.

The Community will meet four times throughout the course of the academic year:

  2. Adapting Assignments to Account for the Availability of Generative AI (October 18, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
  3. How to Use Generative AI on Your Own (TBD Spring 2024)
  4. Facilitated Discussion of Lessons Learned through the Implementation of Generative AI (TBD Spring 2024)
