The Trojans are currently 6-4 with two more games left in the year. They are on a three game winning streak as they head into the weekend hosting Patrick & Henry for a non-conference game on Saturday at 2PM and next week they will host Cape Fear on Thursday night at 6PM.
FTCC vs. Cleveland: 58-85, Loss
The Yeti’s handed the Trojans their third conference loss on the season. After leading in the first quarter, the Yeti’s took control of the game and did not let up until the final buzzer.
Nahmiah Aekins (Hope Mills, NC) was the Trojan’s leading scorer with 14 points and she also had 11 rebounds. Elyssa Phillips (Raleigh, NC) added 13 points and six rebounds. Amire Banks (Mt. Vernon, GA) had 12 points and four steals.
Tateyawna Faison (Duplin, NC) also had 11 rebounds and Denaira Williams (Fayetteville, NC) had eight rebounds and nine points.
FTCC vs. Richard Bland: 66-43, Win
The Trojans traveled to Virginia and dominated the Statesmen on their home court.
Williams lead the offense with 23 points, four steals and three assists. Aekins added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Faison had nine points and nine rebounds. Banks earned nine assists with seven points. Keara Duncan (Fayetteville, NC) also had four steals.
FTCC vs. Guilford Tech: 63-58, Win
The Trojans held onto another road win beating the Titans by five points.
Hannah Reames (Bishopville, SC) lead the Trojan offense with 13 points, she also had five assists and four steals. Phillips added 11 points and two rebounds.
Williams had six rebounds and four points, while Banks had six assists and six points.
The Trojans shot 76.9% from the free throw line, only missing three shots.
FTCC vs. Catawba Valley: 63-41, Win
The Trojans earned the win for their last road game of the year over the Red Hawks at Catawba Valley.
Phillips had 15 points to lead the Trojans. Banks and Aekins each had nine points.
Faison lead the defense with eight rebounds and Banks had seven assists.
The Trojans will host Patrick & Henry on Saturday for a 2PM tip-off. All home games are $10 admission (free with FTCC ID or children 12 and under) and are played at Reid Ross Classical School: 3200 Ramsey Street.
