Registration is underway at Fayetteville Technical Community College for free accelerated workforce training that provides hands-on experience, industry certifications, paid internships and opportunities for immediate employment.

These courses, offered through FTCC’s HOPE Reconnect program, run 5-8 weeks and include 96 hours or more of training. Tuition and other costs are fully covered, and students can earn a stipend of up to $1,200 through work-based learning internships.

Students in HOPE courses are also eligible for assistance in creating resumes, interviewing for jobs, and networking with employers.

HOPE courses will be offered this fall in several areas including:

  • Basic Construction Technology
  • Certified Nutrition Specialist
  • Hospitality Service
  • Industrial Welding
  • Office Administrator
  • Property Maintenance Technician

HOPE students must be at least 18 years old and residents of Cumberland County.
