Men’s Basketball traveled to Jamestown, NC to face the Titans of Guilford Tech in a conference game Wednesday, February 14. With this win, the Trojans move to 20-5 on the season and 13-4 in conference play.
The first year of the men’s basketball program at FTCC, the 2016-17 team only won five games. The Trojans have had tremendous improvement under the leadership of Coach Brian Hurd, to now have hit 20 wins the past three seasons. With five games remaining in their regular season, men’s basketball is looking to gain as many wins to prepare for the NJCAA Region 10 Conference Tournament in March.
Friday night the Trojans head to Winterville, NC to play Pitt Community College at 7pm and are on the road again Sunday as they head to Catawba Valley for a 3pm start time. They have one more stop before returning to their home court at 7pm Thursday, February 22 against Central Carolina.
Saturday, February 24 will be Sophomore Day for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams before the start of the men’s game at 4pm. The Lady Trojans will celebrate four sophomores and the men will celebrate eight.
