FTCC is proud to announce a partnership between its Customized Training department and NFI Industries’ distribution center of Fayetteville.

Through the partnership, which is supported by state funding, FTCC will provide customized training to NFI employees for three years, addressing training needs in continuous improvement, leadership and supervisory skills, food safety and first aid.

“Because of NFI coming into the area, they were eligible for customized training funds for their employee cross-training and their employee development,” Moore said. “As Customized Training Director, my focus is on industry in Cumberland County and how we can use that state funding to help them. It’s basically free training.”

Moore said NFI’s customized training program is slated to begin in March and will take place primarily at NFI, which employs about 160 workers at its Fayetteville location.

“We try to do the training to match the company’s wish list so that we maximize the impact of the training but minimize the impact of having employees or leadership off the floor,” Moore said.
