FAYETTEVILLE, NC – October 18, 2016 – Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) and Womack Army Medical Center announced today that the 1st class of the Fort Bragg Paramedic Course will graduate from FTCC on Thursday, October 20, 2016, beginning at 9 a.m. in Cumberland Hall Auditorium at the Fayetteville campus (2201 Hull Road). The event is open to the public.
The class began in January 2016 with 28 active duty soldiers from Army 68W (68 Whiskey) Combat Medics and 2 employees with Fort Bragg EMS. The course consists of 600 hours of didactic and 600 hours of internship (Hospital [300 hours] and Field EMS Internship [300 hours]).
Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to take the North Carolina State and National Registry Paramedic License Exams.
