Dear FTCC Student:

Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) received an allocation of federal funds for the purpose of providing emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus (including eligible expenses under a student’s cost of attendance, such as tuition and fees, course materials, technology, health care, and childcare), In compliance with Federal guidelines, FTCC allocated Federal student emergency grants to Spring 2020 curriculum students who were enrolled in face-to-face classes prior to the state of emergency, if students were determined eligible based on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) ( or attested to Title IV eligibility criteria by answering a series of eligibility questions), and met other specified criteria. FTCC also considered the students’ enrollment this spring when determining award levels, Award ranges are:

  • 1/4 Time Enrollment: $625
  • 1/2 Time Enrollment: $875
  • 3/4 Time Enrollment: $1,1-25
  • Full-Time Enrollment: $1,375

Based on available data, you are eligible to apply for an award that will fall within the $625 – $1,375 range, based on your Spring 2020 enrollment. Amounts awarded must be used for the purpose which you specify in your application.
