FTCC Fine Arts hosted the opening reception last week for its FTCC Art Exhibition 2023, which features the work of FTCC students enrolled in Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Continuing Education Arts courses.

The exhibition is on display through May 5 at the Art Gallery @ the Library inside Paul H. Thompson Library.

As part of the celebration of the students’ work, Dean of Arts and Humanities Dr. Kenjuana McCray presented awards for first, second and third place to the artists.

First place — Tesia Dresser, “Queen Bee”
Second place — Yvette Andrews, “Jazz Expression”
Third place — Jacquelyn D. Forrest, “La Femme Natorelle”
