What is PC Support & Services?

Join an elite group and become a computer doctor. Be a front-line worker in the IT world. HEREOS WORK HERE! We visit the emergency room and doctor’s offices when we are sick or injured. Computer Support Specialists are the emergency workers, doctors, and nurses of the IT world. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Computer Support Specialists earn a median annual salary of about $58,000! Employment is expected to grow 9% from 2020 – 2030 and about 70,000 openings are projected every year! Technology isn’t going anywhere; it’s only becoming more and more advanced every day. Start your career in IT and don’t get left behind.

What to Expect:

Course Work

PC Support & Services is a concentration under the Information Technology program. This curriculum prepares individuals for employment as troubleshooters responsible for solving problems and providing technical support assistance, and advice to customers and users.

Career Paths

Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies which rely on computer systems to design and manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.
